Here is my setup:

Epox 8RDA+
Athlon 2400+
(1) 512Mb stick of Corsair PC2700
Latest BIOS from Epox site

Can't seem to find the right settings to overclock this setup. Can someone post there (relevant) BIOS settings for this type of setup. I'm not looking to go crazy but I would like to get it running at least to 2200Mhz (default is 2Ghz). Thanks.

Here's what I've found to work well on mine...

Advanced Chipset Features -

System Performance - Expert
FSB Frequency - 200mhz
CPU Interface - Optimal
Memory Frequency - 100%
Memory Timings - Expert
T(RAS) - 4
T(RCD) - 2
T(RP) - 2
CAS Latency - 2.0
FSB Spread Spectrum - Disabled
AGP Spread Spectrum - Disabled

The 8RDA+ is running a 2400+ and (1) 512mb stick of Corsair PC3200(C2). The complete specs are here.

Insane, did you have to physically unlock your CPU to be able to get those FSB settings?

No. I just set the multiplier to 11 in the bios. The lastest bios allows for full adjustability of the multiplier without needing to do the pin or L3 mod on a Tbred B.

Insane, thanks for the reply, couple of questions.

Did you have to bump up any of the voltages (Vcore, Dimm)? Also, I may have to go a bit lower being that I'm running PC2700 Corsair (166Mhz DDR) instead of the PC3200 (200Mhz DDR I believe) that you are running.

Only thing is, every time I adjust settings that the system doesn't like (I guess I push it to far) when it reboots and tries to post it just sits there and beeps and I have to use the jumper to clear the CMOS which causes me to start over from scratch. Very annoying.

Back to the drawing board.

I am having the same problem. I DO have the ability to change my multiplier and FSB in BIOS, however, if I change my FSB even 1 MHz from 133 to 134 and lower the multiplier it WIL NOT post. If I change ONLY the multiplier it will even go from a 2400xp to a 2800xp but it will not let me change the FSB. Why is that?

Not sure, but are the 2400's a T-bred or Palamino core? Using the Nforce2 motherboards, you can only change the multipliers of T-bred chips without physically unlocking the chip.

The Palamino cores have to be manually unlocked.

My 2400+ would run stable in everything but Prime 95 @ the default vcore of 1.65v. It ran for almost 20 hours, but I prefer a straight 48 hours of Prime 95 with no errors before I deem absolute stability, so I kicked it up a notch to 1.7v.

I did not have to raise the DDR voltage from the default 2.63v, and I shouldn't have to anyway since it is running it's rated speed of 200mhz (DDR400). You might be surprised, but I bet your Corsair might make it up to 200mhz with some more relaxed settings and maybe a little more voltage. There was someone in this forum who was running regular Crucial PC2100 (DDR266) @ 200mhz on his Nforce2 board.

All 2400+ and up XP's are the Tbred "B" core.
