8rda+ oos newegg?

Hmm. I thought I would never need to go other resellers for general components like mobo. Today when I check 8rda+ on newegg, couldn't believe it is OOS. The only other one carrying 8RDA+ now is mwave. They are several bucks cheaper actually, but got that back from shipping charges.

I thought 8rda+ has onboard I1394, but seems no so... anyway, anyone tried mwave before?

mwave is fine.

The 8RDA+ has been OOS frrom newegg for a few days now.

my roommate just ordered one from mwave yesterday, got overnight and received it 15 minutes ago...he's putting it in as i type this. i've order a couple mb's from them no problems and fast cheap shipping (for me anyways)

Got my 8RDA+ from mwave.. I ordered the rest of my build parts from newegg on the same night..
The mobo arrived a day before the CPU from newegg and the rest of my parts, and the price was $20+ cheaper from mwave too

Soon to be wife (this Sat) ordered it from Mwave for my upcoming bday (was5 or so cheaper thern Newegg inc. shipping). NO problems at all. I believe Mwave is regarded much the same as Newegg. Ordered MANY times from Neweeg, but this was 1st Mwave order.
No complaints.

The 8RDA+ does have onboard Firewire (1394), two ports via an add on bracket included with the retail package. Mwave was actually around before Newegg, and they are a very reputable dealer. They must have a good Epox distributor, because they always have some of the lowest prices on Epox boards...

If you compare costs on this, Newegg charges 112.00 for the board plus 5.00 shipping, Mwave.com, which is my first alternative when newegg doesn't have what I'm looking for, has the board for 99.64 and 2 Day Air Shipping for 14.30, resulting in the final cost to 113.64 opposed to newegg's 117.00, plus you recieve faster shipping...just placed my order to go with me new Barton 2500+!

You will be a happy man. I just set up an 8rda+ with an xp2100tb and only pc2100. Am running the 2100@ 2.22ghz and am thrilled to death. Onboard sound is awesome. B even happier when my twinmos/winbond 2x256 pc3200 comes in on Friday
Throw in a g4 or 9700 pro and you will be ROCKIN!
