hey guys, I posted an 8x DVD player from compgeeks.com for 49.95 just yesterday, but they changed the deal and it's better now.

They will give you a brand new 8x DVD drive, a sound card, speakers and the software...this is what all u been crying about yesterday, now they are giving you everything. So stop complaining, especially when u don't have to deal with stupid REBATES !

Onvia got barebone Toshiba CM-1402 12x DVD drive w/ free shipping got 61.33
You have to go into complete listing of DVD drives, because it seems to be listed twice. The one which shows up on top is 66.xx
Does anyone knows if that one is Region 1 locked or it can be "tuned"?

That Onvia DVD is an awesome price. It's only listed at 2.5 lbs though. Anyone know what the difference between SD-M1402B and SD-M1402S is?

I think the SD-M1402 comes region-locked but can be unlocked with different firmware

this sound card is terriable, brought it last week, now still use my $3.99 inland sound card.
