actually i know for a fact that dreamworks did all the cgi for 9-11. there were no airplanes.

There were seismometers place in nearby locations around the WTC complex. An explosion prior to the plane hitting the towers would have registered. No such incident was recorded on the seismographs recording on that day. He may NOW believe that he heard an explosion before the plane hit, but there's nothing in the physical records to back up that claim, nor are there reports by the thousands of others that were in or around the WTC complex on that day to corroborate his claim.

It's funny how the CTs will latch onto anything someone says if it fits their narrative as if it's the absolute and final truth. They weed through thousands of informed, professional statements and opinions that don't fit their narrative and either ignore or dismiss them. But they'll glom onto a single statement - often incorrectly repeated, embellished, taken out of context, or just downright bastardized - then loudly proclaim they have proof of their conspiracy because some janitor said so. It's lunacy at its absolute finest.

So, your proof that the US gov't must have successfully pulled off a huge conspiracy is that they FAILED to do so in the past?

Not proof, or even evidence really, but it certainly addresses the motive question.

Well to be fair, the military has created numerous plans for a wide range of events, all secret plots that really kind of covers every base.
Now while that plan linked is quite frightful, there is the difference that in the case of 9/11, a notorious terrorist organization that has attacked us before, fully claimed that they carried out the 9/11 attacks.

And while the government may have done some shifty things (unknowingly, or knowingly) to get us into Iraq, there was no good reason to go after the Taliban and al-Qaida, as Afghanistan offers us nothing but trouble.

Oh, not at all, but in the grand scheme of things, the attacks in hindsight were pretty random.

It's not like we had lots of warnings beforehand, and had been in negotiations, like when the Japs attacked Pearl Harbor.

Well, actually we did. That was one of the big issues, they were aware something big was being planned, but it got brushed aside by some. This is why I think its so foolish to think it was a conspiracy, they knew about Al Queda back when Clinton was in office (some have actually tried to say that Clinton was to blame for 9/11 since he didn't order Osama Bin Laden taken out when they knew exactly where he was).
