you seem to have left out some key words in your argument. IF the mercury project were to end in disaster the US government would have used the opportunity to bring down cuba and save face at the same time. nowhere does it state that they would kill glenn on purpose to bring down cuba.

The point about blowing up the boat was NOT to kill Americans. If you take the time to read the document, it's all about well executed "incidents" that will appear to be GENUINE in appearance. I mean seriously, actually take your TIME and the little bit of intelligence you may, or may not, have and read the full document. It goes on to how they will fake a plane being shot down and how they will take the real plane and create an identical one and switch them mid flight and then shoot a fake drone plane down. It's ALL smoke and mirrors. None of that document shows the intent of the Gov. to actually hurt an civilians or Americans in any way. Yes, it's made to decieve them, but not to hurt innocent people. Also, you pointed out that they said they could sink a boat of Cubans (real or not). FYI: Cubans are not americans if they are not on American soil. Again, they said nothing about killing Americans.

It also says they could foster attempts to the extent of wounding, but it says nothing about killing civilians. It says they will use placed plastic bombs. Nothing that would cause major damage.

Again, where does it say it will kill American lives? You are taking things out of context without reading the document in full. It was a brainstorming document on things they could, but didn't do, and how to do it if needed.

Question: How much of this really happened? How many people were killed? Guess what, none of this every happened. A lot of bad things are planned for and talked about. So you're crying foul about nothing. They didn't do anything then and 9/11 was not a conspiracy.

once again i never stated that. unfortunately you are arguing with me on the wrong point. in a previous post Red Squirrel stated, " the US goverment may be a bunch of crooks, but do you really think they want to kill their own people?" to which your reply was, "unfortunately, they do. plans kept secret for four decades." you had linked in an ABC news story. i stated that Operation Northwoods does not specifically state that it was designed to harm US citizens. which by reading the document is true. it does not specifically state that it would harm US citizens. it does state however that it would injure or kill refugees in the waters between US and Cuba. it doesn't specifically state the action would take place in international waters, however the vast majority between US and Cuba is international water.

so i got bored and decided to double check the reference for that statement since it is not included in the Operation Northwood document that was declassified. i'm guessing you didn't because you wouldn't have quoted it otherwise.

the reference is a book that tries to tie 9/11 to Operation Northwoods, shocking i know.

the book states, "The report even suggested secretly paying someone in the Castro
government to attack the United States: "The only area remaining for

Guantanamo." The act suggested -- bribing a foreign nation to launch

however, the Operation Northwoods report does not state this at all. it seems that this was just another 9/11 conspiracy douchebag that skews the truth in order to make his/her statements work, and to possible sell more books.
