I signed up a while back. Great host, its down occasionaly, but for the price, who cares?
Shell acess is great, and the speeds between it and my other server are pretty dang decent.

Yeah - I've been with them a while - when they first had this deal!

Reasonably reliable, although I've heard occasional PHP complaints. I've had occasional IMAP/POP issues myself. Currently only using it for web storage, transfer and some email/attachment needs. SSH/SecureFTP work great, in addition to basic shell (telnet/rlogin) access.

The fact that they continue to offer this special scares me a bit - hope they know not to take on more than they can handle!

<edit> While there's no harm going in via the OP's referral link, I'm quite sure they DON'T offer referrals for this special - only on full price sign-ups! I was given just the dreamhost URL by a long-standing member elsewhere - no expectation of referral etc! FYI - directly going to the website would work too!

Cool deal. Thanks for pointing it out. I just signed up too. $9.24 is awesome for this. My only concern is that next year when this expires, the regular monthly price will be start.

Also, my billing statement says:
Type: Crazy Domain Insane ($119.40/1 year)
But I know I got the 777 deal because i have confirmation email with that.
Does anyone else's say this too?

yes, mine says that too. i'm not sure if this deal will be available next year, but if you paid for one year, you will get one year.

if you go under "Billing" in the Web Admin Panel, you can review all of this information and you can even set up an automated "End Service" date. Just be sure not to let a successful domain name fall out of your hands.

Last time I checked according to the Hot Deals forum rules:
1) Coupon codes are not allowed
2) Referrals are not allowed
