I was reading the 5X's are shipping out from Illinois, is that the case for people here? I hope the 6P is the same way, I'll probably get it in one day since I live so close to the shipping center.

I live in Orange County, CA and mine is being shipped from Bloomington, CA. Next-day delivery for me even though I opted for ground.

Mine shipped from California. I live in California, though... so... :whiste: And I got it in 12 hours

Well I'd guess that was only for the 6P, because my 5X only had C to C.

ah, I misread. Yes, the 6P has the adapter, but the 5X does not.

I decided to order the ADOPTED thin case for my phone, the clear one looks pretty nice on the frost phone they show in pictures. It's kind of pricey at $20 but other clear cases I was looking at were even more.

For the 5X: 7/10 repairability score from iFixit. Not bad.

1. Many components are modular and can be replaced independently.
2. Standard Phillips screws means a driver is easy to find.
3. The battery isn't immediately user accessible but isn't too challenging, or too adhered, to replace.
4. Fused display assembly—glass and LCD will need to be replaced together if one or the other breaks.

I ordered the second the site went live and it shipped from CA just like my chromecast audio which I got in 12 hours after it shipped.

Well my case shipped today, shipped from Carol stream, il so I'm hoping my phone comes from there too. Since these are being shipped from out of the country they're probably just coming in closer to where they're going.

My huweii watch I bought from google shipped from that same location. Took two days and I'm in PA.

Can't post pics right now but the Nexus 5X takes great pics but..... Taking night pics last night at The White House, photo processing took a long time pretty much freezing the camera and when the phone finally responded no pic was saved. I did have a couple of other apps opened because we were running.

Averaging 1.4 of the available 1.8GB memory. Wish it had 3GB because I'm already affected by the 2GB. Or they need to do some serious work on the phone app.

Loving the phone outside of that.

How is the screen uniformity? Some Nexus 5 units had severe backlight bleeding/blowout.

Broke down and ordered a 32 gig carbon 5x. Going to give Fi a shot. I'll be moving from a T-Mobile G4. Will miss the SD card and camera. But I use so little data it's just not worth keeping on T-Mobile. Can use the CDMA push of Sprint in a few places too.

That's disappointing, and yeah I think Android needs a lot better memory management (or maybe the apps do).

I believe both of these are supposed to excel at lower light/night too due to their sensors (large pixel sizes). In fact for that reason alone these are really hard to resist. I'm waiting to see how the Lumia 950/950XL do, but these new Nexus are on my short list for potential upgrades (I'd consider the Moto X Play and new Sony but from what I gather both will be difficult to source for the US, and Android itself has jaded me quite a bit, so I'm more inclined to the Nexus line because of the update situation; the new Moto X has fallen quite a bit for me since it has a pretty average camera in the reviews I've seen).

Is 5X good to use in one hand for average user, or still too big?
I figure if 5X too big anyways, maybe I should go for 6P and get the full benefit of a big screen, or wait for something smaller.
