bump, tried everything suggested, purchased a new motherboard, and still getting problems. Anything left?what are you using to install said OS?
?? CDRom drive..DVDRom drive CDRW drive..etc.....?
had a Sony brand new straight out of retail Sony box ..24x10x40..fugg up my OS install and other errors were generated..
could be cpu but change out your IDE cables if you have spares..piece by piece isolate ...good luck..not a real big Asus fan neither..flame away...never had a prob with Epox tho ..as always YMMVOriginally posted by: sugajay
same dvd rom drive that worked fine on my system before this one.
try just the OS installed ..no other apps..no other..just basic ...keep all other data out of the equation to help isolate the glitch/trouble..run memtest on the memory(prolly fine..) ..there are lots of caveats and other variables that could be the underlying causeOriginally posted by: sugajay
wouldn't I have corrupted data rather then programs and files that work fine but crash and close on me? I get the same stuff from programs installed from files downloaded aswell.
yeah! ...getting somewhere now..Originally posted by: sugajay
