Yeah, but it seemed pretty awesome back in the day. When I got mine, I was like the only person in my high school that even knew what an mp3 was. Everyone would always ask me about the Rio and be totally amazed by it. Mine kept getting corrupted so I got several replacements via warranty. Eventually, they upgraded me to the even more awesome Special Edition, with 64mb of memory!

Had the 32mb one also, totally sweet.

Had the 32mb one also, totally sweet.

I had (and still have) one of these- the Creative Nomad. It was sweet, but about the size of a portable CD player. The battery lasted like 3 minutes too. Mostly used the 6GB hard drive for storage, but I swear it still sounds better than most of the players out there today.

The 80's were better. Better TV shows, better movies, better music.

You're nuts. The 80s were superior to the 90s in almost every way, though I am gaining more appreciation for the 90s as time goes on.

FWIW, I was 9-19 in the 80s and 19-29 in the 90s.
