also directron has 99c fan , bare wire With fan guard.
Did ya make those resistor connections on the outside of your case?? I have same Delta power supply. I was able to run aux. connector through back of my case very easily, and made the connection there. Resistor does get very warm. Wanted to put load on power supply using a fan, but couln't make it work. Also, woudn't using a 7 volt mod on your 92mm fan work? I did this to my 120mm fan, and it works great.have received these 92mm fans from Directron and I have to say that they are nice. Here is the link to NMB website. These fans come with bare leads and fan guard and they are NMB 3610KL-04-B40. I installed both in my case along with 10 ohm resistor to slow them down a bit (a noise) and they are very nice. Replaced both sleeve bearing fans that came with my Maxtop case from newegg (both sleeve bearing fans ended up in garbage as one already started to make noise after 6 months of usage). Also replaced this cheap PS with Delta PS from directron. I had to solder 10 ohm resistor between orange and black wires of aux connector. Installed aluminum filters (looks nice and cool) and now I am happy with my Maxtop case. Installed rubber grommets for all fans (including CPU) and PC is much quiter now. Life is good now.
