I just got a Sapphire 9500np 128 from allstar. Tried the softmod and would get a blank black screen after the Windows logo, and after awhile it would reboot. Safe mode would not work, had to Restore to Last Known Good Config. Noticed most people that didn't have a good softmod card would still be able to boot into Windows and would only realize it wasn't a good hack when they got lots of artifacts and checkerboarding. Anybody know what's the problem? Or is it I'm just one of the only people to have a really bad 9700 prospect? Also I applied the 9500pro mod successfully, but didn't really notice any difference in 3dmark. Anyway to check that it worked?
