Bare card .... no adapters, box, manuals, power cord, etc. Most real 'refurbs' have a warranty too... 7day warranty = restock = someone else's crap.

Beware about ordering from Dumpinggoods.com. I bought a refurb 9500 standard from them a few weeks ago. It was DOA. I e-mailed them about getting an RMA number without response. I e-mailed them again and they replied and gave me an RMA number. I sent them the package and put it out of my mind. I get my credit card bill last week and they haven't credited me. I e-mailed them and once again they didn't reply. $70 down the drain.
lsimpson50: the first 9500 you had was in fact DOA. If it was just not having the floppy power connector plugged in, it would have booted up with a message on the screen telling you to plug it in.
It's not bait and switch (please look it up so you know what it actually means), but their site is frustrating since inventory isn't real-time. Even if you order something cheap, it might be OOS.Originally posted by: busmaster11
This site is very suspicious. They'll always show some fantastic product like a 9700 pro for like 76 bucks or something refurb, but OOS. Then they'll have like a FX 5200 for like 142 but in stock. Yeah, right - like people aren't going to smell the bait and switch from a mile away...

The earlier threads about dumpinggoods here recommended calling them to order (and several people did get pretty good deals shipped to them). I saw a $40 5200 last night and various other cheap video cards, but who knows if any are actually in stock.
Gotcha! I bet you're never wrong, even when it's proven to you... moron.Originally posted by: busmaster11

Dude...
Do you even bother reading what you post on the off chance it doesn't make any sense whatsoever? Perhaps you shoulda been held back from the fifth grade just one more time...
Why didn't you just use one of the connectors off your PSU? The connector you were missing is just a passthru cable.Originally posted by: lsimpson50
I bought one from DG about 4 months ago for about that price. Bare is bare. It didn't even come with the power connector. It didn't work, obviously, and since I didn't know it required a separate power connection I figured it was defective. So I sent it to ATI for warrenty repair and they exchanged, no questions asked, for one that came with a power connecter thingy attached! Hey what's this thing dangling from the card? A uick internet search told me the obvious: It was the previously missing power connection...great concept... a power connector included!
It is a great card for the money.
