I picked up a used 9500 PRO and noticed that it works okay most of the time, but sometimes it displays verticle banding even during boot up or in the BIOS, leaving me to believe it isn't a driver problem since drivers haven't been loaded yet; however, reinstalling the drivers or rebooting will usually clear it up. I also played a demo of Flatout and noticed some major artifacts.
I was wondering if the card was bad or if maybe someone had done a bad flash on it. I've never flashed a video card before and was wondering if someone might have some info on the problem. I searched ATI and Google but found nothing specific about where to get the firmware.
Any help would be appreciated.
The card is in an Abit KD7\XP3000 (latest BIOS)\Antec 350 TP power supply, 3 hard drives, WinXP Pro.
Thanks
