The Asus 9600XT supposedly comes with 750MHz memory. Now that's a nice improvement, and probably a more worthwhile one than the extra memory. I'd want to see benches, though, to see how the core responds to the extra speed.
Was so looking forward to this card after reading Asus's initial specs. A radeon card with VIVO and dual DVI, but after reading this site it looks as the initial specs where wrong and it won't include dual DVI.
I'll still probably get it as I don't see GeXCube advertising a 9600XT with VIVO yet or a GeXCube All-In-Wonder 9600 Pro. It should go well with the new ATI E-Home Wonder with FM Tuner, when it comes out.
The Asus 9200SE comes with a coupon for Half Life 2, I think the 9600XT might!
9200SE w/HL2 coupon for £43, that's £25 for the game, £18 for the card!!
XT's are £165 or so
$260+, tax really sucks over here.
About £1 = $1.6
(for an 9200SE)
$40 for HL2
$28.80 for the card.
$68.80 overall
