As of yesterday this item is back in stock, I just ordered one thru a friend (I'm from the Philippines). I had requested my friend to open the package once he gets it to see if the accessories are there just like some nice people here mentioned!

Hope I get as lucky as the others here, though, I usually only get the card when it comes to the refurbs from newegg.

That is unfortunate, but that is what it says on Newegg's website, no accessories included at all just the card. But you are the FIRST to say you didn't get EVERYTHING pictured.

Does anyone see a reason why I would want to upgrade to this from a 9500 Pro? Or would I be better served just dumping some extra cash into the current gen cards once the next gens start flooding the market? I know some of the 77xx cards have been hitting in the last few days so I expect most of the 6xxx cards to start dropping faster and faster.

I would get a current gen card like the x800xt or 6800 series. With this card, you're losing a VGA connection and gaining just a bit in FPS, but the 9500 pro is just a 9700 pro with lower clocks, so its not going to be THAT much of a difference.

I'd get it if you
1) Don't plan to buy another video card until, say, this winter
2) Want TV input to your monitor
3) Want a little speed boost
4) Don't need the extra VGA connector

well fortunately this is replacing my old first generation ATI Radeon AIW so i have all the accessories except for the remote... otherwise i'd have to return it w/ a restocking fee i think.

Mine still has'nt shipped yet. This would be an awesome hot deal if it works out this way for me!

isekii, I had already purchased 1 (thru my buyer in the US), 1 of those refurbished for $99 + $1 s/h. I hope that I will not end up like vital, otherwise I will have to beg someone here for a DVI to VGA adoptor. You mentioned you purchased a new unit for $120 + ship. Well, look at the current price I've posted for clearance; $174 + 5

The refurbs are out of stock thats all, you are seeing a new OEM version with the link. It should return to linking the refurb when it comes back in stock.

Why would you want one? They are really old! You can get a 9800pro for 28$ more and they are alot better.

The 9800 AIW is now $120 + $1 clearance/refurbished. The AIW 9700 Pro (clearance for $174 + $5 s/h) is now on auto notify = OOS?!?

As long as my $100 order for the refurbished AIW 9700 PRO comes with the accessories and not DOA, I'll have no complaints! Afterall I still have to pay my buyer a small fee + shipment to the Philippines. The sum of which is already a bit out my $100 max for a replacement for my Gainward G4 Ti4400 which recently died!
