jesus yes this is hot. My SP100 cost me about 96$ after shipping and that was a hot deal. This is almost (or some say equal or even better) to the iRiver Slim-X, which is the korean equivalent of this. The Silm-X hot deals are like 140-160$, even though this is refurbished I'd definitely buy it if I had 100$. My SP100 was worth the 100$ and this is much better

Actually, the equivalent of this is the iRiver2. It's the exact same product as the SP250. SonicBlue liscensed the iRiver2 for the US market and rebranded and recolored it as the SP250. In fact, all of SonicBlue's mp3/CD players are from iRiver. iRiver's just gotten smart and is marketing their players in the US by itself under its own name now. The SlimX is newer than the SP250/iRiver2 and is, well, a lot slimmer.

You can get a NEW one for ~$105 shipped from Amazon after the $30 rebate and the ubiquitous $5 off coupon. Shipping from PCMall was almost $12 for me, making the Amazon deal the better deal.

Since the rebate is good until the end of the year, I would keep my eyes peeled for even better deals/pricematch opportunities on this unit.

The SP250 was around $139 this morning before rebate, but maybe Amazon ran out so they switched to Circuit City's stock for $180. I would check back in a couple days.
