I purchased a Zalman ALCU VGA cooler, booted the pc, and my desktop is fuull of artifacts, found out that the temps are really high, I looked at the core and the shim seems to be slightly higher than the core.
How can I remove the shim?, ive tried using a knife, but it seems stuck down pretty good.
I got an RMA on the card (because the stock heatsink clips broke) but id thought id try another HSF for it.
So have i actually fried the card? or is it that the HSF isnt making good contact with the core?
