980Ti Boost Clocks and Asics

Can you just solve a little and noob question for me?

I have 2 Galax 980ti GOC Edition, is it normal that the high asic card boost better than the lower asic card? Boost clock is always related to better asic?

And about mounting cards, should I always let the high asic one on top playing with Sli?

Not always, there are other factors. But a card with a higher asic will usually be able to use less voltage for the same clocks than a card with a lower asic, which can give you more headroom when overclocking, if the chip can handle those higher clocks.

But at sli setups, she ld we use the best asic on top?

I guess it makes sense, the better asic card will generate slightly less heat so temps will be more balanced than if the lower asic card were on top haing to deal with temps rising from the card below.

I'd actually argue lower asic card on top.

It means synchronized clocks will be slightly lower on average, and also the card generating the most heat is on the top, heat rises, so the hotter card is not suffocating the cooler card (although the delta is generally so low it makes no difference).
