24 10/100 POE switch (all ports are poe capable) w/ 2 gigabit uplinks though the power supply indicates only 200 watts on the -50v rail.

the macid on the sticker on the inside indicates Netgear manufactured, but the POE portion has powerDsine branding.

i could not find any information or manuals for the switch and no information about IP management (though a macID is clearly labeled!).

the switch works well for mitel IP phones and it is the normal switch fan loudness. you would not want this on your desk. rackmount ears are included!

are you sure about the poe capability across all 24 ports? netgear website doesn't show this unit at all, but dell has a corresponding part number (LM-GP7224)

as far as i can tell, unmanaged, but the macid is confusing (and the switch does not grab a dhcp'ed address).


the 2 page installation manual says all 24 ports can do POE, the powerDsine internal power module connects to all 24 10/100 ports, and i've tried all 24 ports with a POE mitel 5330 IP phone and they all power the phone. if you tried to use POE for all 24 ports, you would only get about 7.5 watts a port, so i doubt you could actually power 24 devices off the switch.
