This is not entirely true. I have a .27 DP 17&quot; Nokia that I use at work. I'd put the monitor up against anything and I'm sure the Nokia would beat it in clarity. Then again, it's a Nokia.

I called and they said they never even heard of something like this and they say that if one store does it, then all of the stores will have to do it as well. So thanks for nothing. I just called the Houston store and they had no freaking clue what I was talking about...

However, the guy told me the that Westmont store was new so that may be the reason, and that may be why it's having that sale, and it also may be why you never heard of it, Maximus...

What you could do, is ask the people at the Westmont store what the deal is and if they could possibly send out an email or call other stores who may buy the idea...

If it's a national chain then other stores may be having this kind of promotion also at a later date...

The website is www.micro-center.com, and it mentions nothing about the sale...

I called the main office for this place and they told me that they only do this for the new stores opening. So all the other stores will not be having this sale. This really sucks because i wanted one of those monitors.

They don't only do this for new stores. In Columbus, OH the store has been there for years and they do something like this every so often... have to check and see if it is happening this weekend though.

wje: true, nokias are nice, but still .27dp would look like crap. Actually I saw an ad once for a 17&quot; with a .42 dot pitch. it was really cheap and this was years ago when 17&quot;s were really expensive. theres a reason why you pay for lower dot pitch.

Just got off the phone with the Westmont location. It appears the customer appreciation sale is only at this one location, and they're opening at 9:00 am with 180 monitors for sale per day. The csr also mentioned laptops for $800 for sale limit of 20 per day, but wasn't able to get details as boss was walking by.

And YOU would be WRONG!
I bought the refurb one from Microcenter in Dallas, TX a few months ago during a 20% off sale and it DID come with the toner cartridge.

And as far as toner cartridges go, they only cost around $60 with 'core exchange'. And I have done over 3K sheets and haven't replaced it yet! It just keeps going and going....

I would highly recomend the printer!

i just called the NY store. the guy there told me there was NO sale this weekend.
i also asked him if the kds-7311 was in stock, he said it was $199 and its out of stock.

he didnt sound very knowledgable. seemed like a stupid counter boy to me. maybe someone should call the store again and see what someone else says?

It is about half a mile from Route 83 (3 stop lights) on Ogden Avenue (R34), after Blackhawk street, on a strip mall to the right side.

I suggest that you go 30 minutes before 11 a.m. this Sunday. Went there this morning 8:45 a.m. and there were about 75 people ahead of me. Grab a cart when you come in. Most of the people began grabbing the KDS-7311 17&quot; monitor (limit 180) near the entrance. Same thing with the 99 cent software

Also there was a raffle for a Apple iMac to be drawn August 1st (no need to be present) and Fuji MX-1200 digital camera (12 noon 5 pm, you have to be present - 12 winners).
