So you mean to say that you plan to buy a gamecube but not any games. And you are not going to rent/borrow games either so you dont need a memory card?

can you confirm something I read online... the UO.com site claims that they have a special promotion on Ultima Online from Sept 20-Sept30, and UO is half price (so $10 instead of $20). but i can't find that info on EBGames.com and my local store is both dumb and out of stock.

Next month, on Oct 14, Nintendo will have the official "Mario Bundle" (Indigo GC, 59 memory card & SMS) for $189 MSRP. I'm waiting for that deal since it's more likely to be discounted at some stores.

EB has some promotions where they might not even advertise....eg...look at the DVD trade in deals.

It's for real. I just bought a black GC today with 251 mem card and Super Happy Rainbow Sunshine(or whatever).

It's a mail-in rebate though. I wonder how soon I'll get the $50 back.
