a 244hz is better for my eyes?

i was wondering this

a normal lcd with 60hz, needs enough hardware to handle each game at 60fps, then, if your hardware could go to 100 fps, with 60hz lcd, your eyes will be safe, running each game smoothly

but, if your hardware can handle only 100 fps, and you have a 122 hz led, it wont be enough for your eyes then you will see the difference in the fraps, and this can result in damage your eyes? of course, slowly

then im looking for the true

if i have 244hz and enough hardware to handle 300 fps, will it be better for my eyes?

it depnds of the age of the person and many things, each human is different, for example, if you play for 7 hours a game with graphics at 15 fps, framedrop, you will have a painhead, that what happen to me

when i played games in a pentium 3 1ghz with a lot of framesdrop, i suffered a lot of times headache, after change to an i7 920 in 2009, headache stopped while playing games, to check if it was related to the low fps, checked again play with p 3, and was that

Unless you are a really good PvP player you don't really need more then 100fps/100hz screen, I like my 144hz screen it is smoother with sniping but you need a good GPU to even reach that. 244hz I won't even consider for the simple fact you will notice no difference and it is more of a marketing gimmick really and you will need to best GPU and drop your graphics settings to reach that as well.

What's a crt 14? My crt had decent refresh If I remember right 120hz? The nu8000 has 144hz at 1440p.. good enough for me

There's no evidence that's screens cause any lasting damage to your eyes. You can have eyestrain but its temporary and the solution is to remember to blink and/or look away from the screen every once and a while for 30s. Also blue light can affect sleep cycles but that's easily fixable with flux.

^ That is not necessarily true. The blue (filtered white but still a large component is blue) light emitted from LEDs/monitors can cause macular degeraton, but it's not related to the refresh rate.

Personally, I turn down the blue on my monitors as much as I can without everything looking bizarre, and right away, not just after lengthy exposure, my eyes already feel quite a relief.

oh youdidnt know i was joking? heh .. true tho everyone n my family has glasses and i still have perfect vision and not young anymore. I stay out of the sun more than them or good luck is my guess i never ate very healthy.
