Even if the suspect was not in the house and the PD knew that?Essentially, they're saying because her boyfriend fired at the cops first after they broke in, the cops were within their rights to use deadly force in response.
Let me ask you why do we have self defense laws that allow you to shoot someone actively breaking into your house?
You are telling me if police bust into your house unjustified you can't defend yourself. What if you have enough weaponry to kill the invading cops are you charged with murder/manslaughter?
Remember the Bothem Jean case. What if he had a weapon fired back and killed Amber Guyer should he be charged?
Please resolve the 2 laws that are in complete conflict.
