DPC: 1422 active members yesterday with 2,557,257 blocks flushed
TA : 643 active members yesterday with 1,461,939 blocks flushed

On the bright side, it would seem that we flush more blocks per person by far than does the DPC...Sad note, we have nearly 800 members less than they do....

I would like to congratuate the active members of TA for working their ASS off on this project. To stay even "close" with the small (and I mean embarassingly small compared to these forums membership) membership is a tribute to the great people working here...Great job guys....If we only had more people...

you are right on the money man...

643 members submitting 1,461,939 blocks
arithmetic mean 2,273 blocks
median 594 blocks
44 (6.8%) of the 643 submitted (734,197) 50% of the blocks ( :
(really more than half .. but I didnt want to split blocks or people)
sad thing is 44 people are doing half of the work, we need to give them a raise !!!

on the bright side... DPCs rate of gain is dropping
our rate of gain on /. is increasing

and today is the first block of the rest of our lives

DBC <<What do you mean by >>

I am not sure of your question, if it is a use of language,
or the math mumbo jumbo

I will try to answer for both instances
DPC is catching AT overall, but not as fast now, as you were.

hopefully this answers

and best of luck to you guys, we love your competition !!
it is the first time we have had any in years and now it brings
more fun for all of us.. : )

On the other hand, since math is supposed to be the universal language, let's try describing it that way:

m(t) = DPC Membership at time t.

m'(t) > 0
but
m''(t) < 0

Plus my .sig seemed to fit \|/

I think m(t)=m'(t)=m''(t)

With other words, our growth is exponential with base e.

Just a cautionary message about us not starting anything with the DPC...
We weren't going to do that anymore.

It's true you're rate per person is far much better than ours
Today we have 2997 members,an probably tomorrow more than 3000 members, but when they don't flush it's no good, even if we don't MegaFlsuh anymore we only have like 40% active members
So you're guys are actually better than us

Engineer,

Part two of the bright side: The active member number of 643 is up from a low of 575 when OGR kicked in. Still far below the 740 or so we were tracking in early July, but certainly moving in the right direction.

I am bringing a few other people online cracking for em as well. While our membership may not increase, our keyrate will. Albeit not in a hugely signifigant quantity thru my additions into the grand scheme of things overall...or something....

Madrill, its all those "little" additions that count, if each person were to get a few new computers as you have, we would be unstoppable
