That number is far too low IMO. Also, there are probably plenty of people that fall in between believing and not believing. You know.. The folks that have been taught that they will go to hell if they don't believe, so it's probably safer to believe than not to believe.According to a 1989 survey, only 10 percent of US citizens aren't religious. I find that hard to believe, seeing all the stuff on the internet.

It's funny that you should mention this, but Latter-Day Saints (Mormons) believe that the gospel will be presented to everyone. If you don't get a chance to hear the gospel during your mortal life, then it will be presented to you in the afterlife. That's correct. Chinese people are NOT going to Heaven...Neither are the villagers of Africa or the Inuit of Alaska, cuz none of them have heard of or care about Jesus H. Christ, cannot therefore seek him for salvation, and therefore cannot enter the kingdom of heaven. Given that salvation only be obtained through Jeebus, it then follows that the vast majority of the globe, at any given time, is destined for hell. Too bad they will never have the opportunity to reach pearly gates because they have never been exposed to Jesus and the Other 2/3 of the Trinity. Doesn't sound very fair to me! Interesting how people seem to believe that God is a just God......doesn't sound very just to me!!
