Hopefully whoever is responsible is caught and held responsible.

Does sound like an inside job, hope they catch them either way.

So some crazy left wingers decide to firebomb a GOP office in North Carolina. There was also graffiti written which told the "nazi republicans" to leave town or else.

The act itself is a vile attack on democracy. And what is with these people throwing around the nazi word? This act harkens back to a pre world war 2 Germany where the numero uno Nazi, Adolf Hitler, was beginning his rise to power. Old Adolf had the assistance of a group of people known as the The Sturmabteilung. This group was known as brown shirts because of the color of their uniforms. They were bullies and violent people who used similar tactics to influence the political process in Germany in the 1920's and 1930's. Kind of ironic calling the people in this GOP office Nazis.

Just a sad commentary on what our political process has become. I guess forcing the opposition to cancel rallies due to violence was not enough. Thankfully no one was hurt.

Don't fall of the deep end, it was probably just a disillusioned GOP worker. Besides why waste our time with one such act, it really doesn't count as news until five or more acts of political vandalism occur.

Well people did fire bomb and disrupt Nazi party meetings and properties. That's where the Brown shirts came from.

They were set up to protect Nazi party meetings from people that saw the dangers inherent in the Nazi party.

On a side note, when I heard this reported on TV they said there were completed ballots in the building but no idea yet if they were destroyed.

My question-Why the f*ck does a political party have possession of completed ballots? Talk about an opportunity for voter fraud. Would be impossible my my state's laws-absentee ballots must be returned to the town clerk directly from the voter.

That is going to be a shitstorm if true.

North Carolina Republican Party spokeswoman Emily Weeks told NBC News that the office is totally unusable and that materials inside, possibly including completed absentee ballots, may have been destroyed.

What in the actual f...???

Trump has always been a projectionist. Is this the rigged voting he's been talking about?

I'm not willing to just accept that this was an attack by liberals, not with this candidate and not with the far right's history of political stunts. It's certainly possible, but this needs investigation.

James O'keefe?

The woman who slashed a backwards B in her face and blamed blacks (linked previously)

Trump has been promoting violence and rigged elections.
Does anyone trust the right not to pull such a stunt in a swing state they desperately need? It's all a bit too convenient.

I've been saying this for months.

would I be surprised if it was drumpf supporters doing it to gain some empathy or put hillary supporters in a bad light, no. do I think that's what happened? no, probably not. I agree with sandorski 100%. It is no longer amusing it is no longer entertainment, it's a shitshow, nothing more. 2 of the least favorable candidates in modern history vying for the highest office in the land. damn.

I would not be terribly surprised to find out that this was done by desperate conservatives, but who knows at this point?

I see we're all off to a good start by dragging out the jump to conclusions mat. With respect to the fire - these acts of vandalism should not be tolerated and I hope they find the perpetrator(s) and bring them to justice. Fortunately, no one was hurt in the incident.

I've seen this mentioned in a couple articles. Why would completed absentee ballots be found in the local GOP headquarters?

It may well be that N C rules allow absentee ballots to be collected by volunteers & then turned in to the State. That seems likely. Every State is different.

Mountains of evidence against Hillary = A right wing conspiracy.

No evidence of the GOP in firebombing = The right wing burning their own.

You guys crack me up and you are so full of shit.

I don't know and you don't know.

Actually, Trump and his supporters are at war with the "establishment" GOP, so it's even possible this was an attack by one or more of his supporters and had absolutely nothing to do with liberals at all. Just sayin'

Given people are talking about this specific case what evidence exists, either way, to draw any conclusion beyond assumption?

Could you provide some links? I can find it only in the article linked to here after looking rather extensively this morning. It smells a lot like bullshit to me. It reeks of the type of propaganda geared towards the useful idiots who unthinkingly sop it up.

We have one link, I'd like to see more. If true, the media would be all over this which is why we know it's bullshit.

Yikes, whoever did this is gonna get raped.

And yeah, I laughed out loud at the irony of "Nazi Republicans" when you're firebombing an opponent's political office. I guess they need a history lesson. Holy fuck... I mean, the irony is just so bad. LOL. They should IQ test the perps of this too; I'd be surprised if they tested over maybe 75.
