Could you provide some links? I can find it only in the article linked to here after looking rather extensively this morning. It smells a lot like bullshit to me. It reeks of the type of propaganda geared towards the useful idiots who unthinkingly sop it up.

We have one link, I'd like to see more. If true, the media would be all over this which is why we know it's bullshit.
It makes sense for legitimate reasons. I'm sure they canvas for people that say they won't be bothered to vote in person and convince them to fill out absentee ballots for the GOP.

Mountains of evidence against Hillary = A right wing conspiracy.

No evidence of the GOP in firebombing = The right wing burning their own.

You guys crack me up and you are so full of shit.

I don't know and you don't know.

Obviously Hillary should be jailed for this attack.

North Carolina Republican Party spokeswoman Emily Weeks told NBC News that the office is totally unusable and that materials inside, possibly including completed absentee ballots, may have been destroyed.

While most are being reasonable about this, I will point out something less so. This has Alex Jones fans written all over it, given the timing. Had this kind of incident happened months back, before he joined the cabal, when violence at Trump rallies was at a fever pitch? It would have felt more authentic. But now? It has that desperate times call for desperate measures vibe.Trying to garner sympathy, and make the opposition look as bad or worse than your own lot. We have seen these tactics before, and the only reason they work is reasonable people always dismiss the possibility that they are being played.

And yeah I appreciate the irony of a conspiracy theory about conspiracy theorists, but that is how these MFers work. It is basic psychology, and the psy ops have definitely picked up since AJ joined the team.

All this was inspired by the principle—which is quite true within itself—that in the big lie there is always a certain force of credibility; because the broad masses of a nation are always more easily corrupted in the deeper strata of their emotional nature than consciously or voluntarily; and thus in the primitive simplicity of their minds they more readily fall victims to the big lie than the small lie, since they themselves often tell small lies in little matters but would be ashamed to resort to large-scale falsehoods. It would never come into their heads to fabricate colossal untruths, and they would not believe that others could have the impudence to distort the truth so infamously. Even though the facts which prove this to be so may be brought clearly to their minds, they will still doubt and waver and will continue to think that there may be some other explanation. For the grossly impudent lie always leaves traces behind it, even after it has been nailed down, a fact which is known to all expert liars in this world and to all who conspire together in the art of lying.

So, how much of Wednesday's debate will see Trump's time devoted to accusing Hilary and vile liberals of firebombing his sacred office in NC?

Oh hey--Maybe this is that "October surprise" that Wikileaks/Russia promised would show the "True Hilary"! ...of course, their ability to predict such an event is in no way suspicious.

...obviously. :sneaky:

Look at the author on both, it's the same article. One on CNBC one on NBC. And I should have been specific that I was referring to the article linked in post #35.
I'm skeptical of the claim itself as well. I noticed that Alexandra Jaffe tweeted out the same story but she posted a retraction saying that there was indications it was not accurate.

I'd be shocked if any campaign office had completed ballots on site R or D.

That's a refreshing thing to see in this polarized country. Lets hope these idiots are caught and prosecuted to the full extent of the law
Indeed, that was a very good thing to see. Far, far too much polarizing going on right now, by both sides. Ultimately, no matter who wins the election, we will have to work together.

I do like the way the OP puffs it up into "political terrorism". It's not that- it's vandalism.

While it's not possible to say what the motivation was for certain until we find out who did it, firebombing a campaign office could absolutely be political terrorism.

Again, violence from the left. not surprising.

A bit rich given that the Trump campaign's rhetoric helped fuel a terrorist plot to kill Muslims, and that violence at Trump rallies is usually instigated by his supporters.

I'm sure its perfectly legal and a very simple vector for actual fraud to occur on a much larger scale than in person voter impersonation which is what all the ID laws are supposed to stop.

If completed absentee ballots were housed in the GOP's headquarters, that could be a violation of North Carolina's State Board of Election's rules.

When asked if the GOP could have been collecting completed absentee voter ballots, Tracy Ream, the Director of North Carolina's Orange County Board of Elections told The New Civil Rights Movement via telephone Monday, "they cannot do that." She cited the State Board of Elections rules.

Once complete, the absentee ballot "must be returned to the county board of elections no later than 5:00 p.m. on the date of the election," the State Board of Elections website reads. "The envelope may be mailed or delivered in person to the board of elections’ office. Only the voter or the voter's near relative (spouse, brother, sister, parent, grandparent, child, grandchild, mother-in-law, father-in-law, daughter-in-law, son-in-law, stepparent, stepchild or qualified legal guardian) may deliver an absentee ballot in person."

Ream told NCRM it "does not make sense" that the GOP office would be collecting completed absentee ballots, and said her office has not sent the Republican Party blank absentee ballots.

"No one would be collecting" absentee ballots, Ream told NCRM. Asked if she could imagine a scenario where the GOP could be collecting completed ballots, Ream said: "I really can't."

And yet, the North Carolina GOP is telling the media "that materials inside, possibly including completed absentee ballots, may have been destroyed."
