Hi everyone

I am in a need of help.
I have all computer parts ready to build my 2nd PC.
Only thing I am missing is computer case. I want a good case with enough space and good power supply 300W?

If you know any links where I can find one or have any recomendations please post it

I like the Inwin A800/3 (mid-tower) and the Inwin Q500 (full tower). $59 and $73 respectively at Mwave.Com.

The Q500 has plenty of space - although it's on the tall side and doesn't fit under some desks.

I have an inwin q500 and q600 (both full towers). Both great cases. Plenty of room, 300w ps, amd compatible and easy to add extra holes for more cooling if needed.

InWin Q500N rocks But it's a little tall..it's almost as tall as my desk (though I have a pretty low desk)

The Q500 is a nice case. Three spots to add fans. Plenty of room. You don't need screws to put most of it together (you can use screws, but you don't have to - which makes it easy to slide the panels off and slide the motherboard tray out). On the downside, the cooling for hard disks is pretty poor, and it's really tall. Still, you have so many spots to put hard disks that there's plenty of room for 3rd party coolers.

The A800 is smaller, wider (IIRC), and has room to add one huge fan in front and one other fan above the power supply. I like the A500 - I haven't used the A800 personally - it's roomy for a mid-tower, you can put it mostly together without screws. I've only used Inwin cases for the past 6 years or so... One I got my first one, I was so pleased that I've just continued to buy newer versions ever since.

InWin makes quality cases. Enlight is another one to consider. Antec's SX-830 is supposed to be very nice for adding additional cooling (see here).

Go for the Antec SX830 or SX1030 these cases are great. I can't say enough about them you can get them from Onvia for $80/$90 I have the SX830 and my case temp is the same as ambeint room temp it also lowered my o/c cpu temp a couple of degrees. The case is well made and looks good too and comes with a good 300 watt power supply

The Enlight 7237 is a great value for the money and is easily modded.

I'm in the same position as you, and I don't want a huge full tower, but not a small mid-tower. Something in the middle. I've narrowed it down to 3 choices. The Addtronics 6890A, great for modding, 2 front and 2 back fan mounts. The Chenbro Genie, 1 front and 2 back I believe, but I'd add a chimney and maybe some side fans to this one. And the Cyclone 5000 Ultra (only at www.coolerguys.com), which is about $60 more, but comes with 5 fans (1 front, 1 back, 1 chimney, 2 sides). Check these 3 out.

i second the choices made by playmaster...
addtronics makes good case as do the others...they are good choices for mid tower sized units

I've had a SuperMicro SC750-A tower case (the ultimate, with six 5.25" bays and all sorts of nice features) lying around empty for at least a year now. I'm FINALLY (finally) building another system and just took the case out of the storage closet. But d*mn, it turns out to be a couple of inches too tall to fit in the computer chassis slot under my desk, argh!!

I'm now reluctantly looking for a smaller tower with 5-6 CD bays and 1-2 floppy bays that must be 24" or shorter. I'm really gonna miss the old SuperMicro, it takes 9 extra screwless fans (including a huge 120mm one and filters for the front fans), uses drive rails, mobo tray, space for redundant PS, swinging/removable sides and top, the works. But I never got to use it, waaaah!

For me personally, I always use interchangeable removable trays to mount all my 3.5" IDE drives in 5.25" bays, so I need as many of the larger bays in a case and only 1 or 2 of the smaller bays for the floppy and maybe an IDE Zip (which I won't need to swap). Thus I also could care less for any internal 3.5" bays in a case, since I don't use them at all. FYI, I use the cheap KingWin all-aluminum carrier/frame (has a fan, keylock, dust door, removable front bezel for front-loading drives, etc). It's not a hot-swappable model with buffer electronics, so I still have to shut down to swap trays...
