I tried to delete it through the add/remove windows components programs section, but it wouldn't delete. I checked off only MSN, but like I said, it doesn't want to delete it.
When theres that goofy little Windows Messenger icon, double click it, go to sign on, hit cancel. It should bring an empty MSN Messenger look alike screen. Go to the Tools, preferences, and uncheck "load on boot" and "let run in background" and that should be the end of the horrible beast.
