Just for fun, I figured I'd share for the fans here

AP2 front, 16-inch BBS JDM wheels ... lightest wheels I could find. CR shift knob. Interior is like new. Car has 160k miles and runs like a champ.

I'll try to find pics of the interior later.

A couple more of the NSX:

I miss the Honda that was fun.

Yeah man, that would be good! I have an extra motor I picked up for $400 so if anything goes wrong I'll just throw another fresh one together. It could benefit from a valve job /rings though. I had a white AP1 with 110k a few years ago that I rebuilt the top end and it was much quicker and more responsive after the rebuild.

I really really want an S2000. It's great to see that they can run great, even after 160k.

How much should I expect to pay for like an '04 with 100k on it?

nice s2k OP~!

Mileage if taken care of well is nothing on some cars. This car like a properly taken care of nsx can go 200k-300k without a major failure if you dont hoon too much. Have seen those trannys give up after a LONG time of abuse.

I have seen 170k s2ks go for 15k

Welcome to the high mileage club. I'm at 150k and track it regularly. Lots of tires and oil

How much is a 160K s2K worth?

I paid 10k for mine, then spent about $1000 on various stuff (new driver seat, steering wheel, and interior bits to clean it up), followed by about $2500 on new wheels/tires. I also repainted the front bumper because the paint match was poor on the AP2 front bumper from the prev. owner.

The top's like new and the paint is almost perfect.

Mine has a stock engine, stock intake, stock exhaust, stock suspension. Just the way I prefer it on this car. If I do any upgrades I'll probably do a lightweight flywheel if I ever need a clutch or if I refresh the engine.

Those 16" wheels are BBS forged alloys right?

They are hard to find here in the states, if you autocross you can use that for stock class as it is a stock part.

Nice car, how long do your tires typically last on these?

Yep, back when Honda had some fun cars and wasn't trying to out bland Toyota. At least Mazda still has a roadster. Rumour has it that the RX-8 will be making a comeback too.

Love the NSX!

Yep it's a really great / fun car to drive. If anyone here remembers SHARKY EXTREME (web site), this car belongs to Alex "Sharky" Ross He's a good friend / co-worker of mine. It's a 91 and it's really clean. One weekend I put about 500 miles on it with Toyo R888 tires and loved every minute.

Yep those are the sweet 16s I weighed them at 12 lbs rear, 11 lbs front I believe. The stock wheels weren't heavy but these give it some character. I was lucky to find a 100% mint set locally and couldn't turn them down. I love the car on 16s with some nice sticky tires. Screw that 17-18-stuff, this is how Honda intended it

You saved a ton! That's gotta be pretty noticeable.

Stock is F17.5# and R18.6# according to wheelweights.net

And my Sky Redline stomps both

/double fight

Car and Driver Lightning Lap Results:

Honda S2000 CR: 3:15.0

Pontiac Solstice GXP: 3:15.7

It should be noted that VIR is a power track, so the Pontiac had every possible advantage and was still slower than the Honda.

Nice - loved my AP2. Just curious - it has been a while but those taillights look like AP1 lights. Am I just going senile or did you change theM?
