So I have been having problems with my network recently and I was wondering if anyone could help me. I have a Netgear WGT624v3 router logging into my Bellsouth DSL connection through a Westell E90-610030-06 modem. The problem is that occasionally, usually when I am downloading large files, my internet connection will all of a sudden cut out. My computer will tell me that it cant connect to the network because it cant receive a signal from the access point. The only remedy is to reset the router. Anyone know why this is happening or how I can fix it? I don't know if this is correct at all, but I have a feeling that it may be because I am logging into my DSL connection through the router rather than through the modem. When I use the modem to login, I can access the internet fine on my computer. But once I plug the router into the modem, all of a sudden the modem can't seem to connect. Can anyone help at all? Thanks. This is extremely aggravating because I cant leave my computer donwloading overnight because it will just disconnect after 10 minutes and I cant do anything about it while I'm asleep.
