tell the guy you're going to cook one and if it's good come back tomorrow and buy $100 worth and ask him where he'll be. Go home, cook one, if it's fvcked up go find him and trash his truck.

My friends sell meat out of his truck for money.
They rip people off for hundreds of dollars at a time. Literally.
EDIT:
They were even on the "buyers beware" part of our local news.
There were clips of people talking about how bad these two guys ripped them off, and I quote, "first he asked me if I had a freezer I could sell him, then next thing I know, I had spent $300 on meat that tasted like rubber".
Then it showed the reporter leaving voice mail messages on my friends cell phone.
We all got a pretty good kick out of it.
He would even make up fake names for his "company", and had a phone number that lead strait to a voice mail that he never checked.
It's a shame they don't ban scum like you from AT.

Just ask him who processed the meat and when. If he gives you the name call them to see when it was done.
If the meat is still new it probably is very high quality. My guess is that this is that this his childs 4H project.

You wouldn't laugh if you saw your friends on the news? Maybe you should try getting out.

Yea, I agree it isn't exactly an honorable job, but the people see what they are purchasing before any money is exchanged... so you can't really blame anyone except the customers.
Whacked for selling meat? I don't think so.

A guy selling them out of a freezer in the bed of his truck, 10 oz steaks, 20 of them for $25 as I was on my way back home from the university.... Seems to good to be true. Ribeyes for that cheap sound scary..... Although many cattle ranchers live around here.
Anyone have any experience with traveling meat salesmen?
(I am not going to get any meat from the salesperson, I thought it would make for an interesting discussion, but there is indeed a guy selling this stuff as stated in the OP down the road))
