You have to remember that all AT members become perfect citizens when anyone posts about driving and/or a ticket. Remember, no one on these boards has ever broken the speed limit or done anything that would violate the sacred traffic laws.

I don't really remember how fast I was going, but I was definitely going around 30-40mph. when he tried to pass me, I sped up to about 50mph.

In most states what you did is illegal. It is not legal to go significantly bellow the speed limit.

The left lane is the passing lane, the right lane is the crusing lane. This simple fact has escaped so many morons on the road (of which you are one) that it boggles the mind. If you want to drive at the speed limit or below it, get in the right lane and let them pass as they will. Speeding up after he attempted to pass you just to be an a$$wipe was an even more childish and stupid thing to do, and was for the sole purpose of being a jerk to someone who had somewhere to go.

My friend had a similar incident, but his outcome was a bit more funny/scary.

My friend was following the speed limit on a one lane road with no passing allowed. Anywho, this chinese dude in his big SUV speeds up behind him and is tailing him, when all of a sudden, he wants to pass. My freind starts accelerating just as hard him, and the guy wasn't able to get get ahead enough to pass him... and them came the truck going the opposite direction. My friend was still not letting him pass, and the guy had to pullover on the left hand side of the road, otherwise he was gonna go head on with the truck.

I was following this guy in the left lane after a while it didn't seem that he was going to move over and let all the traffic behind him through so I went to pass him on the right and that's when he sped up and wouldn't allow anyone to pass.

So, I pulled out my gun and shot him dead. It was fvcking hilarious as everyone that was behind him kept driving up and giving me the thumbs up.

I was driving on highway. it was local. the road has no sidewalk, but they have traffic light from ever .2-.5 miles. It doesn't matter if I drive on the left or right. I was on the left because I had to turn left the next traffice that was less than half a mile away.
