A**hole neighbors keep parking in front of my garage

So I just moved into my new apartment in Huntington Beach and for the past month the other tenants have this annoying habit of having their friends block my garage by parking right in front of it. Apparently I am the only tenant who actually uses the garage to park my car. I tried having the landlord take care of it but since he's an elderly man he seems to be completely useless in this situation since the other tenants treat him like a joke.

I've missed work because I couldnt get my car out in the morning and my son has been late to school. Since the only thing I can think of at this point is sheer violence I wanted to see if the ATOT gurus could help me out with some useful advice.

You seriously need to bring this up with the tenants, if you know who they are.

Everytime I talk to them they deny knowing who owns the car or they don't answer the door when I knock.

I was under the impression that only the landlord or manager had the authority to do that and he just doesnt want to get out of bed early in the morning to tow the car. He's even been so bold as to tell me, as I was missing work, "By the time I get there it'll be an hour later and the car will probably be gone and I'll drive down there for nothing."

The irony is that the car was there for the next five hours.

have them towed. Wake-up in the morning and check if they are parked out there before you get ready for work. If they are call to have them towed. Tow truck should be there by the time you are ready to leave for work.

Simple..get them towed. They will come out when they hear the tow truck. Do it a few times and no one will park there.

Call a tow company or the police and find out the procedure/policy for having someone towed. You want to make sure you don't have to pay for it.

I've already talked to them on numerous occassions. They don't seem to give a sh*t. Being civil is becoming less of an option.

You're right. If the landlord isn't doing anything about it and you've talked to the offenders, it's time to call a towing service yourself. It might even be a good idea to give the landlord a head's up before calling just so he's in the know.

If you do something violent, they will retaliate.

You need to figure out how to get the cars towed.

Better call the cops. Not just a towing service. Good to have it on record just incase things get less civil later..
