not if you're cooking anything with it. I do prefer the taste of 2% over all others, If I'm drinking it or using it to drown children's food. But if you're cooking, you need a minimum of whole milk....but heavy cream, or half and half, or even butter milk are best in nearly all recipes that call for milk.

I don’t cook well enough to “impress.” I’d have to settle for whoever is there merely enjoying the food. My favorite thing to cook would be fajitas. They aren’t particularly hard to make and they taste yummy.

And as for the milk debate; 2% is better for drinking but whole is better for cooking. You need the fat.

I made lamb chops, rabbit in mustard cream sauce, minted pea soup with seared scallops and over easy quail eggs. we are married now. Man i miss having time to cook like that. its all sausages and tater-tots and ground beef steaks now.
