Like I need to get into another Tribal Wars. That game sucked my life for a year. Have fun but keep it from controlling your life (I knew it was bad when I set my alarm clock for each attack).
I read something about some old IBM mainframe system which was being used to run jobs overnight. The only purpose of the night worker was to press Enter every so often to start another job. They were able to move the guy to dayshift by replacing his nightly duties with 4 systems consisting of a mechanical alarm clock, a pivoted arm, and a Lego brick. Every 2 hours, the alarm went off, winding a string, causing the arm to fall, and the brick would hit the key and fall off, preventing double-strikes. This worked for several months, until their new batch-capable system was installed.

So that's what you need then, a good batch program to fire off attacks. The official rules might not exactly like that sort of thing, but hey, Kirk got a commendation or something for his Kobayashi Maru solution. If it's good enough for Kirk and Starfleet, well hey, who can argue with that?
