A new browser game, Tribal War.

I've created tribe ATOTA on World 20, join up. Playing around a bit, has lots of units, good interface, intuitive war menu, can coordinate attacks and supports, even a tutorial. It has a combat simulator built in as well.

Most of all, I like the name of the game, it's not Tribal SIM.

Is it actually finished, in terms of programming?
Is it fully playable without paying a single cent?


Coming from Ikariam, these questions are very relevant.
From Ikariam, you become a bit shell-shocked from the number of bugs.

So far, I haven't seen any bugs and it seems to be light years ahead of Ikariam in terms of intuitive-ness. It's free to play, but I think I'd have to pay to get our own "custom crest" for the tribe... It's not BETA if that's what you mean.

And....well, now that you mention it, yes, I see now. Horns and ears.
I um, I always thought they were some kind of bandanna or eye-patch tie-downs, or something, or
maybe part of a skull and cross-bones theme.
Never made that connection until you said it just now.

How is it compared to Ikariam?

From what I see so far, resource, building management (complete with queue, time to completion, resource needed and when certain will be available to build) is just awesome. Everything is in one screen. Just got to building a barracks, and I don't think there will be naval battles.

Light years ahead of Ikariam; oh and it's not Beta, and you don't have advertisement everywhere.

Edit: and I'd trade a naval battle for Heavy Calvary, Mounted Archers and Paladin, etc... any day

Write to the "game operators" or whatever their equivalent is, and ask if they'll kindly transfer our Ikariam-level cities over.

I'll probably keep going in Ikariam, but on a much lower-note, just to level-up buildings, until I get utterly bored of it.

Or maybe I can welcome this "real life" thing back into my life.

Oh yeah, I'm actually blockading lawls as I'm typing this, all that's really take is Alt + Tab . We can still continue to deliver fails in Ikariam, and build up the infrastructure in Tribal War until we're ready to deliver fails, yet again.

Pfffft. To add more than 1 additional building to the queue, you need a premium account. :roll:

I'm sure this will cease to matter on the higher levels when upgrades take 5+ hours, but for the time being it's annoying. Still better than GF crap.

Eh? I think you've misread. I can queue as many buildings as long as I have the resources for it.

This game is by no means new. I played it about 2 years ago and was one of the leaders of one of the top 5 tribes in the world. I was also a top 50 player. I owned over 150 villages. Once you get deep into the game you absolutely HAVE to pay, but its not expensive. If you have two many villages and you don't pay the extra money for premium its near impossible to keep track of your stuff. That said, the game blows Ikariam out of the water. Bugs are pretty much non-existant. The game is VERY addicting and very time consuming.


I'm debating whether or not I actually want to play again. This game is like crack.... .bad bad crack....

Thats what I get.

My mistake dude, but I never got any warnings when queuing for buildings, it just simply tells me that I don't have enough resources. I'll save up to test that out.
