Just a reminder for those of you that are APC fans that their new release is out tomorrow (11.02.04). I've read some places have already been selling it, so you might be able to grab it even sooner. To catch a glimpse of the new material (well, not really new as a most are cover songs), check out this.

For those of you who do not know, APC is fronted by the lead singer of Tool (James Maynard Keening). Their music is much more mellow than Tool, but IMHO it is nearly as good (I enjoy both...a lot).

as I've said before, this album is fcking terrible, the only good cover is Passive which isn't really a cover if you think about it.

No matter how much you like APC, I'd advise you to "preview" the album before you decide to buy it.

The "People are People" cover made me throw up in my mouth.

I'm shocked at the feedback thus far. It really is difficult for me to believe that this new release is really that bad. The Fiddle and the Drum song I listened to today was awesome. I have also heard that the Imagine cover is incredible.

Yeah..I downloaded a cover..accidentally mind you, as I absolutely hate cover songs....of imagine by APC..I thought it was going to be one of their songs, but oh my no. Just imagine, APC covering Lennon...ewwwwww

if you're a fan of APC it's easy to understand the denial you will feel but after you listen to it once you will understand

i'm an apc fan but after hearing the cover of "imagine" i won't be spending any money/time on this album.

I dunno, I just really liked the cover of Imagine. They put their own spin on it, and the video really makes a statement. I gotta buy the album though, they're one of my favorite bands.

maynards about done. theres only so much you can do, before you become a cliche. im not a fan of apc, but a few tunes are ok.

im a tool fan, but lateralus started to show the slide, IMO. i hope the next album doesnt suck, but im not holding my breath that it wont.

edit: most good bands have 3, maybe 4 albums of good stuff. after that they should just split up.

I don't know what he was thinking when he thought he should release an album full of covers....I wonder if it is as bad as Less Than Jake doing the Greece soundtrack.....
