Don't understand how they can say this is what Jesus looked like. They pulled a random sample from a group of skulls and said "poof" here He is. I wonder if the BBC production will do the same thing that Peter Jennings did with his Searching for Jesus show. (Which seemed to do nothing but try to write him off as a political nut only)

I couldn't care less what Jesus looked like. I just know what he has done for me.

I never got why the church always represented Jesus as a typical western european person. I mean, he lived in Israel, the Middle East - it would only be logical that he would have had more middle eastern features.

No offense to anyone, but that Jesus in the first post looks a lot better than all the countless pansy-faced effeminite portraits I've seen. Some I swear look like a blond woman with a beard. It's gross. I like that 1st picture

Well, let's see... he was a carpenter and a fisherman, which means he worked almost exclusively outdoors. This combined with his already olive/dark skin would have made him very dark. The represenation in the first post is probably as accurate as any I've ever seen (though J.C. was probably darker).

I guess the real question is &quot;who cares?&quot;. What does it matter what he looked like as long as his words are still remembered and revered?

Daily, I have been trying to help this guy out.. Actually, its something I saw at work, people were passing it around as a joke.. I think its pretty hilarious. A co-worker tiled a picture of him for his desktop.. pretty funny. almost as bad as This guy. I have been looking for the right woman for him as well.
