My brother lives within 2 blocks from the WTC. Immediately after the crash, he called and said that they were evacuating. If anyone have friends and relatives that work or live close to the WTC. My one data point may be a good indication that they are okay. This is a horrible tragedy and I hope everyone's friends and families in the area is safe and sound.

I´m a Brazillian and I´d like to say that you americans must react wih all you´ve got !
Nothing, absolutely nothing justifies these kind of actions. The palestinians are, of course, the first suspects. After all, the US left that last meeting together with Israel. The worst is that there are no civillians among them: they´re all ready to kill someone.
