This is actually a declaration of WAR by someone on the USA.


Well, it looks like one anyway.

I wish broadcasters would not invoke this kind of rhetoric on the air because everyone starts using it.

A "declaration of war" is something very specific - remember that we never "declared war" in Vietnam & we certainly made more than three attacks there.

When you "declare war," a nation brings the full might of its military machine to bear on the other party.

What about when a terrorist group "declares war?" Certainly not the same thing, but perhaps this is what we have seen.

This is definitely a planned attack.

where did you see this? I watched the whole thing on the news and it definitely did NOT look like this is what happened.
1 - no visible explosion
2 - the buildings fell from the top down; NOT how you would plant explosives to blow up a building

Randal, has this been verified? when I saw the second tower collapse, it looked too controlled, too well distributed to have been a result of the airplane collision.

I would estimate(and hope like heck) that the vast majority of people below where the planes impacted the WTC would have gotten out of the WTC in time. The others... I don't want to think about it.

I heard that about the towers falling on CNET radio

heard it on C|Net radio -- it makes sense too. Those buildings did not collapse of their own volition. Also, exactly 30 minutes after either building was struck, the buildings fell. If you watch the videos, the top of the buildings bulge ominously before they come down. If the charges were planted on the inside of the building, the structure would crash down the center.

i think a good portion of us are with you. The Vietnam draft was hated because nothing like this happened to the US. We didnt have towersblown to pieces, etc. Now that someone has done this ON OUR OWN SOIL everyone is at arms!
