A plethora of games for $9.99 at Circuit City Memorial Day Weekend

I'm sure lots of people already know this, but for late comers like me, it's a good deal. I got this offa the neogaming forums and I didn't see a post about this after searching for CC. The ad states $9.99 with lots of PS2, XBox, GBA, and GC games.

If a game is not in stock (Dragon Quest VIII), then bring the flyer to BB or other stores and see if they can PM it. All I really wanted was DQ8 with the FFXII demo and it was a snap.

The infected for psp is a pretty good deal at 10 bucks. It isn't a fantasic game, but given the price it usually is it's a lot better now.

I think it's both, but some games aren't listed online. Better to call or go to the store.

i bought dragon quest 8 at full price and love it. if anyone can get a copy for 10 bux, it is one of the most addicting rpgs since final fantasy 7. bold words from a bold dork

Now see, I was less than impressed with it. It was fun, but it was incredibly mundane and reaching new levels took so much time that it was unrewarding. You can do the same combination of moves every battle and usually do just fine. Then when you get to the boss battles, most of your special moves that you spent time trying to get are WORTHLESS.

Great game for 9.99, but I paid full price and I wouldn't do that again if I had to do it over.

Did any of you suffer ridiculously long load times also? I'm getting 1 minute load times entering a freakin church or bar and 1-2 minute load times for leaving the first town!

Thanks OP for the heads-up! I bought Xbox Star Wars Battlefront, GBA Dynasty Warriors, GC FF:CC, Xbox Ghost Recon, and PS2 Dragon Quest 8. Also they had some DVD's at $9.99 apiece -- I picked up Serenity and a couple of other newer releases.

Yeah, $10 is a steal for DQVIII. It's probably one of my top three favorite RPGs and one of the few games that I really hated to see end.

Yikes. I can't remember loading times longer than 5-10 seconds. Do your other PS2 games have the same problem?

I REALLY wanted DQVIII and they were sold out in every store in northern Ohio, and BB would not PM it, since they insisted on calling for availability. Anyone by chance buy it and not like it? I'd happily buy it off of you.
