I was reading on either phonescoop/engadged/gizmodo/etc... that Verizon is offering a new data plan which gives you unlimited 1xRTT for $59 a mo.
Those who currently have the data plan and perhaps a PDA is it possible for you to use Skype with 1xRTT speeds and get decent call quaility?
If you think about it, for $59 a month and $3 mo for a Skype in number plus $13 for 10 hours of talk time you have a phone that can call anywhere in the world at rates that are much much cheaper than your own provider. You also get unlimited e-mail/text message/websurfing capabilities as well.
For those who travel alot and communicate with businesses overseas I would think that this would be a cheap and viable option.
