haha yea, i probably should save up more. I'm trying to get a job at the local wallgeens since best buy, cc, compusa, and all these other places never responded so hopefully I can land a job. It would be pretty cool I'd like to bring in some cash...but I guess just forget about helping me out about it Ill wait a little longer for it.

I'm running a Pioneer 12" sub and a 760w amp (360rms) - probably worth $200 tops..it's nowhere near as loud as I'd expect it to be (I've heard amps running on ~100w that have much, much more volume than mine), but it's good enough for me -- I don't have to shake the windows in cars 3 lanes over..

You can get bass for 250 bucks, but not enough to make the audiophiles drool.

It's not the greatest, but it'll do what you want it to...

If you want to get more serious, return it, and I'll point you toward some online-only brands that are worth a look (and probably cost less)

Err...$250 eh? If you've got enough space for two 12's, go with one Adire Shiva with the same volume as you were planning for those two, and as much power as you can find with the remainder of your budget (At that price point, you're probably looking at JBL or US Acoustics)
