Its cas2 at 100mhz. I believe other people have had them at 133mhz cas3 or maybe even above. I am sure that others have had them at 133mhz though. Somebody (I forgot who) said micron even had the -8s in their pc133 computers.

It is "PC-125", sold as CAS 2 PC-100. SPD settings are CAS 2 up to 110 MHz, and then it switches to CAS 3 after that (although it should run fine for some speeds at CAS 2 beyond 110).

Dont know if this might help you but my micron 7.5ns is doing 150 FSB CAS2, it might even go higher if my mobo have a higher settings then 150 Mhz. So I would think that the Micron 8E can probably go up to 133 Mhz CAS2 without any problem.

I got 2 125 mb & 1 64 mb strips of Microns PC133 8ns. Ive run at 146 mhz on them with my P3 550 (804mhz) on my asus P3V4X. I didn't even have to lower my CPU/Men ratio

ran 2 64mb sticks of it for months at cas3 at 145fsb in a bf6, if i pulled one stick out, then it would boot up and run at 150.

i have some even older -8c CAS3 and it worked at 147 cas3, so i figure that 8e should be as good or better

I have some generic -8E (two matching 128MB dimms). It will do 133 CAS2. I have also heard that some of it needs to be set at CAS3 to do 133. Your mileage may vary.

I have 2 sticks of 128Mb Micron -8e PC100 SDRAM.

They are rated at 125Mhz CAS2 but should be able to run at least at 133Mhz or higher at CAS3.

Superb quality RAMs from Micron if you ask me!!

I have 3 sticks (2 -128, 1 - 64) sticks of Micron PC 133 8 ns in my two systems. I have one 128 & the 64 mb in my asus P3V4X in 'auto' setting & when I overclock my CPU to a 146 mhz bus, I am able to run my memory at 1/1 (i.e. it runs at 146mhz). I don't know much about this CAS stuff, but the memory will clock higher than my P3 550e (I know its either the CPU or my Geforce ddr & not the memory holding me back, since if I set my memory at -33 I still can't get above a 146mhz bus).
