a very very highly tuned and expensive V6 against a pretty damn cheap V8, thats apples to apples.
the VQ35, especially the one in the 350Z and G35 coupe, probably can't be modded very far.

The Hemi head is well known for it's great flow numbers at high RPM's. That's why it's the supremo drag engine.
Yes, but it is mostly the valvetrain and rotating assembly that determines max rpm.

The 4.6 in the Mach1 currently has 305/320 I think in terms of power. Oh and isn't there a supercharged version of this VQ in the Frontier/X-Terra that makes a pansy @$$ amount of power?
