This is a public forum... if you bring this out to the public, the public has the right to respond and post what they think. If you wanted this to be a private matter, and didn't want people involved, then maybe you should take it elsewhere.

Point taken, and you may be right about going somewhere else for help. I have, however, seen a strong reponse to tragedy within the computing community in the past and am hoping to see something similar here. Might be wishful thinking...

Claimed he got into a serious car accident (turns out it was pretty bad, but not as bad as he said) and skimped out on ALOT of deals.

fair enough. my kid sister might like those (she seems to be involved in a book serioes about "complex father-daughter relationship pays tribute to the ability of love to transcend boundaries of life and death" among other things.)
