Is this meant as a serious analogy? You really need to look over the history of the KKK since the late 1860's all the way to the present. They've had leaders, headquarters. They have funding from dues. Membership cards. Even a "uniform" of sorts. And unlike "antifi," who has killed literally no one, they've killed lots of people.

Another way is to provide an actual list of known activities of this so-called group. Not just killings, any real activities of any kind.

So far as I can tell, people calling themselves "antifa" have outed white supremacists to their employers to get them fired, a couple times. (Good for them!) Some local groups not called antifa but identifying as anti-fascist have websites with anti-fascist materials on them. There may be a few other scraps out there somewhere.

Antifa is an ideology. Charitably, it might be called a "movement" of sorts. Barely because it's very small. If they are a terrorist group, they are the most incompetent one of all time. I think the best they've managed is a bloody nose.

Yes, that's an interesting aspect of this. I read somewhere that originally antifa consisted of mainly people on the far left. But more recently in the Trump era some people who are mainstream left or center left have started identifying with the label. Which makes sense. Because it's anti-fascist for crissakes! And that is pretty much all it is.

I identified it as an ideology earlier, but it only just barely qualifies as that, because it's really just an opposition to an ideology, and anyone of any ideological stripe who is anti-fascist may desire to take on the label.

I'd wager that 95% of Americans would call themselves "anti-fascist" on a survey. Though admittedly it's really the left, centrists, and some center right who actually are. Among the far right, which is almost the entire right now, many would say on paper that they are anti-fascist, while they embrace and participate in the proto-fascist movement which is Trumpism.

That's not to say people claiming to be Antifa haven't done bad shit, but when stupid motherfuckers try and gloss over how everyday normal assholes riot over soccer or hockey or college sports in those same fucking places while acting like its just Antifa that ever does that type of shit, its hard to take them seriously.
