The only thing I didn't like was they were too subtle was if the spear was poisoned or not.
It was obvious the spear was poisoned in the books. You also knew that the poison was slowing down the mountain. I believe he was stabbed in the show as well as the books near the armpit, and that wound was slowing him down, leading the the hamstringing, and the spear in the gut. The show you just figured he was outmatched.
I was disappointed with the fight. You didn't get the impression the mountain had any skill other than the strength to carry that big sword. Also the spear acrobatics didn't do much for me.
I'm thinking of well choreographed fight scenes, and book of eli comes to mind, after searching for the choreographer, Jeff Imada doesn't seem that appropriate, but it left me wanting.
