Heck, I have my SNES, NES, and Gameboy still at home with the Parents. I am letting my nephews play it. They still love playing the oldies. We have both FF1 (NES), FF2, FF3, and Chrono Trigger still there. Many good hours wasted on those games.

That's because, in my opinion, it is the pinnacle of gaming. If I was forced to choose between that and FF3...oh my...CT would edge it out by a milimeter

I always wished Chrono would talk though...that was the only blemish the game had.

What format are the Chrono Trigger movies? DIVX? I can run the FF movies, but not the Chrono trigger ones.

CT, FF2 and FF3 are my daddy, mommy, and great grandparents all rolled into one Then again, I've always been very partial to the NES original, as well. Heck, I paid $30 for a refurbished NES on EBAY just so I could recapture the magic, heh. Now I just need another frikken controller...

Sweet! Thanks a lot dude! Those games ARE the best videogames ever, and definately the best RPG's. I'm kinda stuck with videogames, they're such a waste of time, and they were such a waste of my youth (god I can't belive I'm saying that, I'm only 20 lol). I don't think I'll get a new console after my $50 Dreamcast, but these old classics I still remember as being the best! FF 8 seems to be so distant (and disconnected) from the classics that were FF2 and 3 for SNES! Anyway, thanks for the movies, theyre pretty sweet!

Btw, what's with the skyrocketing value of these SNES games, I mean I check one day and find out my Chrono Trigger / FF3 are worth like $100 each! In 10 years, these pieces of nostalgia will be worth a lot if they can hold out that long!

Yeah....I sold my FF3 and CT back to funcoland a while ago. Got 30 for FF3 and 70 for CT and they were opened and most definitely used. According to the store chrono trigger is considered rare and is worth some cash.

I beat FFIV(FF Chronicals) and began playing the Chrono Trigger 1/2 of it. Man is it slow on PlayStation.

So I traded in FFC and got the SNES version of CT. I played it like 2 days but never really liked it. So I took that back and got Castlevania:Symphony of the night and FF Anthology

Wow, nostalgia indeed! These movies are awesome! The "Oh my Hero" song gets to me every time. Just an observation; had these movies been available (with a cd or cassette; hey it was 1994/95) when Final Fantasy 3 was released, it really would've softened the massive "shock value" of the CG's in FF7. Not to take anything away from that game (that one is also an all-time favourite, unlike FF8...), but without CG videos being new, only the updated graphics really separate FF3 and 7.

Just got the files, both games look awesome (have tried FF6 snes emulated so I know it is). Makes me want to pay the high price to import them.
Anybody know any places that ships overseas (europe) cheap? US games mostly (as my japanese isn't very good).

Judging from the videos it would have made a great anim&eacute;. It's very easy to see that it was Toryama who did the character designs, isn't this true?
Haven't tried the game, I'll look for a rom to try it out and then import the game if it's as great as you guys say.

I'm sick of todays games. They are all suck! I still find myself spending more time playing old NES/SNES games (with emulators of course). I honestly think 3D was a BIG mistake. As soon as the N64 came out, that was it for me and Nintendo (though I do like the Gameboy Advance). I love 2D side scroller games! Anyone else feel this way?

Secret of Mana is so much better than Chrono Trigger. If Square brought back that title alone, there would be mass hysteria to buy that title.
